FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Disciplinary Action Resulting from TNA May 7, 2016 'Impact Wrestling' Event

The International Pro Wrestling Commission (IPWC) issued the following statement upon reviewing live reports and video footage from the TNA 'Impact Wrestling' event of June 7, 2016.

The following disciplinary action has been assigned in response to the actions of various parties during the June 7, 2016 TNA 'Impact Wrestling' event:
  • MATT HARDY (Cameron, NC, USA) has been fined $2,500 USD for delaying the start of the Impact Wrestling event.  TNA producers Dixie Carter, William "Billy" Corgan and David "Lagana" Lagana were issued a warning for repeated start time delays, along with notice that fines may be imposed for future delays under the IPWC's "lack of institutional control" provision.
  • DREW GALLOWAY (Tampa, FL, USA) has been fined $1,000 USD for agreeing to a Championship match without IPWC performance enhancing drug (PED) procedures in place.  IPWC rules stipulate a minimum of fifteen (15) days of random, twenty-four (24) hour PED test availability for all wrestlers competing in a Championship match.  Mr. Galloway's availability was judged to be fourteen days, twenty-two hours and seventeen minutes short of compliance.
  • JADE (Orlando, FL, USA) has been fined $250 USD for occupying the 'ringside' area without an expemption.  Allowed ringside personnel include Announcer, Analyst (Heel or Babyface) and Timekeeper.  Manager(s), Ringside Official(s) and Lumberjack(s) may be allowed, subject to written permission from the IPWC.
  • ABYSS (Parts Unknown, FL, USA), CRAZZY STEVE (Parts Unknown, QC, Canada), ROBBIE E (Edison, NJ), JESSIE GODDERZ (Huntington Beach, CA, USA), GRADO (Stevenston, GB-NAY, Scotland), MAHABALI SHERA (Chicago, IL, India), BARON DAX (Bordeaux, FL, USA), BASILE BARAKA (Nice, FL, USA) and BRAM (Tampa, FL, USA) have been fined $5,000 USD each for unsportsmanlike conduct for their actions prior to the 'Ten Man Tag' match.
  • ELI DRAKE (Los Angeles, CA, USA) has been fined a total of $12,500 USD, including $5,000 USD for unsportsmanlike conduct for his actions prior to the 'Ten Man Tag' and $7,500 USD for an intentional low blow.
  • AL SNOW (NASHVILLE, TN) has been awarded a $5,000 USD bonus, equal to 10% of all associated fines, for attempting to resolve a ringside dispute using a whistle.
    • SIENNA (Detroit, MI, USA) and JADE (Orlando, FL, USA) have each been fined $3,650 USD for unsportswomanlike conduct due to their actions after Sienna's match.  The $3,650 USD fine for unsportswomanlike conduct is 73% of the fine for unsportsmanlike conduct.
    • EC3 (Tampa, FL, USA) and MIKE BENNETT (Boston, MA, Florida) have been fined $7,500 each for unsportsmanlike conduct during a weigh-in.  Due to the importance of weigh-ins, each man has also been suspended for four (4) days, twenty-two (22) hours and fifty (50) minutes from all IPWC sanctioned activities.  Their suspensions will be up at 8 p.m. EDT, as TNA presents 'Slammiversary', live and only on pay-per-view.
    • ALLIE (Las Vegas, NV, USA) and MARIA KANELLIS (Ottawa, IL, USA) have been found to be guilty of an illegal substitution.  Since the IPWC Code of Conduct (COC) currently has no discipline for an illegal substitution, the IPWC will impose a five yard penalty, as dictated by the National Football League (NFL).
    • GAIL KIM (Tampa, FL, USA) has been fined $250 USD for using her knee to obstruct the collapsing of a folding chair.
    • ANDREW EVERETT (Burlington, NC, USA) and GREGORY SHANE HELMS (Smithfield, NC, USA) have each been fined $25,000 USD total, including $20,000 USD for interfering in an IPWC sanctioned match and a $5,000 USD penalty for championship match interference.  Both men were refunded 10% ($2,500 USD) for getting Eddie Edwards over.
    • BOBBY LASHLEY (Colorado Springs, CO, USA) has been fined $25,000 USD total, including $20,000 USD for interfering in an IPWC sanctioned match and a $5,000 USD penalty for championship match interference.  He was also fined an additional 10% ($2,500 USD) for being in the main event at Slammiversary ahead of "Broken" Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy.
All IPWC fines and penalties are due thirty (30) days from the date of issuance, pending appeal.
